Sharpening knives

A blunt knife or a damaged blade results in fustration while working and is dangerous while working. Sharpen your knife to get a fun and safe experience. We sharpen your knife in a two step process:

1. Grinding the edge on a grain 5000 wetstone
2. Deburring and polishing the cutting surface on a leather wheel

You can then expect your knife at home with a sharp edge. Please note that the knife has been washed after it has come back to remove any residues. We would also like to remind you to handle the knife carefully after the grinding service the cutting surface is razor sharp.

How does grinding work?

• You send your knives or bring them along
• We sharpen the blades to the desired angle
• You will be notified that they are ready
• The knives are either sent with the desired shipping method or you pick them up

What do you get with the grinding service?

1. A crafty knife
2. A protective cover for the knife for transport
3. A set of band-aids.

Important:

• To ensure the long life of your knife, we would like to point out that cutting paper will affect the knife (with the exception of general and hobby knives)
• Select the right type of use for your knife. If you have multiple knives we would like to ask you to mark them.
• We cannot guarantee the result of grinding at low quality knives and knives that have not had heat treatment. We can only grind hardened steel types.
• If you use this service in combination with a larger order of fabrics, we will wait with the entire order until the knives are sharpened
